    Expand your doula network outside your own community. One way I like to do this is by attending birth conferences. Both the DONA and CAPPA conferences are going on this weekend.  If you are twitter you can follow along with the action by looking for #DONA12 and #CAPPA12 tweets.

    Allison G Runnalls Years ago I went on a "birth tour" roadtrip through the northwest us and actually got to meet face to face with a lot of the other doulas and midwives that I had connected with online... It was a blast and something I would love to do again :)
