Have you ever noticed your client clenching their hands into fists during contractions? Doing this releases endorphins which causes the sensation of contractions to be more diffuse. We can suggest holding these bumpy balls instead, which stimulates the nerves in a similar way, while not exhausting the hands.
Alternatively, these are great for a gentle rub around the sacrum, providing counterpressure on the low back, or rolling on your client's foot on in between contractions!
